Before You Get Started:

Warning! Financial aid/scholarship searches should be a free process. When in doubt, speak with your advisor or a counselor.

The best source of scholarships, aside form the opportunities through the federal government (FAFSA), continues to be financial aid from colleges themselves and the local community. Every university or college has their own scholarship funds. Information on the different scholarships can be found on the college websites. Parents should also contact the Human Resources office at their place of employment to inquire about scholarships available to children of employees.
